Recreational Diving PADI Courses in Playa del Carmen

Each course requires the participant to train for specialty dives incuding boat, wreck, cavern, deep, navigation, drift, night and other special and fun dives. Open Water Diver
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You will also earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification that is recognized worldwide. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives. The course normally takes four days.

Rescue Diver The PADI Rescue Diver program develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver. You need to have completed your Emergency First Aid course to start the PADI Rescue Diver, which itself is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership programs.

Emergency First Aid
The PADI Emergency First Aid program covers basic training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation - CPR - and emergency care. In addition, it’s a medically based program covering primary care, secondary care and treatments following national consensus guidelines. The program is designed for divers and nondivers, and also meets the CPR and first aid prerequisite for earning your PADI Rescue Diver rating.

Master Scuba Diver
With the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification in hand, you’ll have reached the highest recreational diver level accomplished in the PADI System of diver education. The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating denotes superior achievement and proficiency in dive skills, experience and underwater activities.

PADI Divemaster
The PADI Divemaster program is your first step in the leadership level in the PADI System. A Dive Master has a high level of personal diving skill, instructor level knowledge of diving theory, significant training in how to assist an instructor during training activities and is able to assume appropriate responsibilities that benefit the welfare of other divers. Many PADI Divemasters go on to become PADI Instructors.
